Life Cycle of a Star

Whenever I look up at the sky at night and see the vast amount of stars shining in the dark matter of the universe and realize that that is still less than 30% of the entire universe (the majority of it being dark matter), a sense of deep wonder and amazement passes through me. I’m almost certain that extraterrestrial life exists, and probably the intelligent kind. So many solar systems, galaxies, and biophilic planets in the Goldilocks Zone that carbon-based life seems mathematically very plausible.

The late Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Caliph IV of Islam, had stated that the Qur’an in fact very candidly hints at the existence of locomotive extraterrestrial life as well in his landmark work, “Revelation, Rationality, Knowledge and Truth.” A highly interesting read for the religious and irreligious alike.
